Anker SOLIX F3000 Charging: When the AC Outlets Stop Working

By VibePicks · Published

The US Anker SOLIX F3000 can power AC appliances while charging in some situations, but its optional EV charging adapter changes that behavior. Anker’s A1782 user guide says the AC outlets are disabled while that adapter is connected. If you need to recharge and keep an appliance running, choose your charging route before planning the load.

US F3000: separate these three ratings

3,072Wh
Nominal battery capacity
3,600W
Rated AC output
1,800W
Maximum normal wall-charging input

The charging connection determines what stays available

The manual distinguishes normal AC charging, charging from a compatible generator, and charging through the optional EV adapter. Its AC power-usage table lists AC outlets as available in the first two cases. For EV-adapter charging, it lists no AC output and no bypass support. The adapter is sold separately; an EV charging station’s connector does not establish compatibility on its own.

EV-adapter charging interrupts AC use

Do not plan to run an AC appliance from the F3000 while recharging it through the EV charging adapter. This restriction concerns charging the station; the separate EV output mode is a different function.

Make a short list of the equipment that must remain on during a recharge stop. A phone that can tolerate a pause creates a different constraint from a freezer full of food. Decide which interruptions are acceptable before buying accessories. If an AC load must continue, the EV-adapter route fails that requirement even if it offers an attractive charging speed.

Output wattage is not a wall-charging promise

The 3,600W AC output rating describes the station’s output capability. It does not mean a normal household connection supplies 3,600W of charging input. The US manual lists normal AC charging at 120V, up to 15A and 1,800W maximum, with a separate 12A continuous-current specification. Use the instructions for the actual charging route rather than transferring one headline figure to every connection.

For comparison, 3,072Wh divided by 1,800W is about 1.71 hours. That is an illustrative energy calculation assuming constant input and no losses. It is not a measured full-charge time: charging behavior, starting charge, temperature and connected loads change the result. The screen’s input reading is more useful than assuming the charger remains at its maximum throughout the session.

Our pass-through charging guide explains why input, appliance demand and bypass behavior need separate checks. For a setup that regularly needs power at two locations, an extra battery versus a second power station is also a useful comparison. Extra capacity alone does not remove a charging-mode restriction.

UPS mode has a narrower scope

Anker specifies a transfer time within 20 milliseconds and limits UPS support to the NEMA 5-20R outlets. Do not apply that statement to every outlet or charging arrangement. Transfer time alone also does not prove that a particular appliance tolerates the interruption. Check the appliance documentation and its required operating conditions before relying on the setup.

This is a documentary guide, not a hands-on test of transfer behavior. For equipment whose interruption could cause harm, select a backup arrangement that meets its documented requirements. Any inlet-box or fixed-wiring plan needs the manufacturer’s instructions and a qualified installer; the portable station’s output rating is not an installation plan.

Check the listing as carefully as the manual

The linked eBay listing was checked on October 14, 2026. It was available in New condition with Buy It Now purchasing, located in Spring Valley, New York. Its shipping details include the United States but exclude Alaska, Hawaii, PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses. Seller Best Outdoor Prodcuts showed 99.5% positive feedback; that does not establish manufacturer authorization.

The seller does not accept returns. Confirm delivery to your address, included accessories and manufacturer warranty eligibility before ordering. We found no verified coupon for this listing and have not tested checkout. Availability and purchase terms can change; do not assume an optional charging adapter is included.

Review the seller’s delivery and return conditions, and check the charging accessories required for your use.

Practical choice: use the charging route as a selection criterion, alongside capacity and output. If AC appliances must stay powered during recharging, rule out EV-adapter charging for that session. Read Anker’s current A1782 US user guide for the complete operating limits and safety instructions.
